Located on the corner of King Street North and University Avenue West on the Waterloo campus, the Athletic Complex is home to Golden Hawk varsity basketball and swimming as well as Recreational programming such as the fitness centre, intramural programs, climbing wall and special interest classes like dance and group exercise.

Hawk Desk
The Hawk Desk is located at the entrance of the Athletic Complex. This customer service hub is open whenever the facility is open, and the Hawk Desk staff are always willing to help. Call 548-889-5581 or visit the Hawk Desk in person with any concerns or questions.
Hawk Desk staff can assist with:
- Memberships
- Locker, Towel & Equipment rentals (squash racquets, squash balls, open gym equipment)
- Hours of operation
- Varsity Ticket Purchases
- Any other Athletic and Recreation inquiries
Emergencies and First Aid
All Athletic Complex staff are First Aid and CPR-certified, and are able to respond to any and all injuries at the Athletic Complex or on Ansley Alumni Field. If you or any member of your group is injured or has a medical-related problem, please contact the Hawk Desk at the entrance to the Athletic Complex. From there, staff can dispatch Emergency Medical Services if required. If the Athletic Complex is not open or staff cannot be accessed, users can use the Emergency Pull Station at the North-West corner of Ansley Alumni Field to reach Campus Safety and Security.
