Our Olympic length (50 m) pool features six lanes and can be set up in long course or short course configuration. It is home to the Laurier Golden Hawk swim team, the Region of Waterloo (ROW) Swim Club, prospective National Team members and many previous Olympic swimmers. The pool provides over 30 hours of recreation programming every week, including lane swimming, and intramurals.
The aquatic programming offered here includes swimming and lifesaving instruction. Private lessons are offered to members who would like to learn basic swimming skills or improve their stroke, speed and endurance. Lifesaving instruction courses include the Lifesaving Society first aid courses and National Lifeguard re-certification.
Lifeguard Hiring
Come and be a part of a diverse, hard working, friendly guard team and spend the summer term or academic year improving your lifeguarding skills! From guarding competitive swim meets to the daily noon swim, this job will be a great push to improve all aspects of your lifeguard skills.

Swimming Lessons
We offer specialized private swim lessons to anyone ranging from a beginner to intermediate swimmer. Whether you are looking for a first time lesson or stroke correction for your upcoming triathlon, our aquatic instructors will cater your lessons in order to help you reach your goals! Instructors will use a number of teaching strategies, different water depths and aquatic equipment to help you improve your comfort level and technique in the water.Â
