Summer Intramurals

Fusion is Laurier Athletics & Recreation's new facility and recreation management software, which will be gradually replacing laurierathletics.com/shop, including for intramural registration. Fusion Play will streamline the intramural registration and team management process through the use of the Fusion Play app. Don't forget to allow notifications to stay up to date through the app!

How to Register for Intramurals

Sign-in to the Laurier member portal at Register.LaurierAthletics.com.
Click ‘Sign In’ in the top right corner and click ‘Laurier Member Portal Login.’ Your account will be your @mylaurier.ca email used through SSO (single sign-on).
Click ‘Intramurals & Tournaments’ on the member portal homepage and register either as a team captain or a free agent for your desired league and division.
Download the Fusion Play app on the App Store or Google Play.
Make sure your region is set to Canada. Allow notifications!
Sign in with your @mylaurier email used through SSO (single sign-on). This is the same login used to sign-in to the Laurier member portal. Make sure to add your 9-digit Laurier student number to your profile!
Follow these steps if:
1. You are a team captain (registered a team in the Laurier member portal): create your team for the league and division you selected (that you registered for in the Laurier member portal) in Fusion Play and invite players to join.
2. You are a free agent (paid the free agent fee in the Laurier member portal): log into Fusion Play. Once free agent team sizes are reached, you will receive an invite to join a free agent team in Fusion Play. Do not create a team or request to join a team.
3. Only after registration has closed (if you have not registered as a team captain or free agent): browse available teams and request to join in Fusion Play. If you request a join a team, do not pay the free agent fee and pay your share of the team fee directly to the captain if your request is accepted. League play is not guaranteed without registering as a captain or as a free agent or being invited to join a team prior to the registration deadline.

Login to your Laurier member portal at Register.LaurierAthletics.com, opens in new tab
Click "Sign In" and select the 'Laurier Member Portal Login' button to sign in. Do not sign up for a new account, as all Laurier Students/Staff/Faculty already have an account created through their Laurier single sign-on (SSO) login (used to login to Outlook, LORIS, etc.). Your member portal (and registrations) are linked to your OneCard.
Download the Fusion Play app.
Login using the same email and password used for SSO.
As the captain, register a team for the league you'd like to play in through the Laurier member portal at Register.LaurierAthletics.com. Once registration has been processed, download the Fusion Play app. (If this is your first time using the Fusion Play app, refer to the FAQ ‘Logging into Fusion Play | Logging into the Laurier member portal’) To create a team as a team captain through the Fusion Play app, watch these how-to videos:

Inviting Players to Your Team, opens in new tab (NOTE: Players invited to join a registered team are not required to pay the free agent player fee. However, players will be expected to pay your share of the team fee directly to the captain.)
Accepting Team Requests, opens in new tab (NOTE: Players who request to join a registered team and are accepted to join the team are expected to pay your share of the team fee directly to the captain. Do not pay the free agent player fee.)
Register as a free agent for the league you'd like to play in through the Laurier member portal at Register.LaurierAthletics.com.
