Recreation Refund Policy

Applies to Group Exercise, Dance and Climbing Wall
  • A FULL refund will be issued if the program has NOT started.
  • Between the first three weeks of the program starting a $25 administration fee will be charged to all refunds.
  • After the third week of the program starting NO refunds will be issued.
  • There are NO refunds on Personal Training Sessions.
  • Non-Laurier students are not permitted to register for Rec Dance classes before Sunday after free week (RecFest week). If a non-Laurier student registers prior to this date, Laurier reserves the right to remove the registration and issue a refund. Rec Dance classes will have priority registration for current Laurier Students. If a non-Laurier Student wishes to participate, space permitting, they must purchase an Athletic Complex membership for the term registered in order to participate in the program. OneCards/proof of AC membership must be brought to each class of the registered program to guarantee participation.
  • A dancer may miss no more than three (3) classes during the term in order to remain eligible to participate in the dance showcase.

Intramural Programs and Leagues

  • A full refund will be issued if a refund request is made prior to the registration deadline
  • Refund requests that are made after the registration deadline and before the day that the program is scheduled to begin will be subjected to a $25 administration fee to the refund.
  • No refunds will be issued for refund requests that are made the day that the program is scheduled to begin.

Lessons, Courses and Clinics

  • Minimun 72 hours notice required to receive a FULL REFUND.
  • A $25 Administration fee will be applied if it is within 72 hours of the program.
  • Once the Lesson, Course or Clinic has started NO REFUNDS will be issued.

Camps

Camper withdrawal and refund requests must be received 10 days prior to the first day of camp to be eligible for a refund. Any withdrawal notifications received less than 10 days prior to camp will not be eligible for a refund.

Refunds will be subject to an administrative fee:
  • PD Day Camp - $15 per child per day
  • Summer Day Camps - $50 per child per week
