Maggie Best

  • What keeps you motivated in the gym: Bodybuilding + overall betterment of my physical and mental well-being
  • Why did you become a Personal Trainer: To make fitness more accessible to anyone and everyone, and make more fitness more meaningful and purposeful for people that otherwise wouldn't seek it out.

Owen Crouse

  • Academic year: 3
  • Program: Computer Science
  • Favourite exercise: Incline dumbbell chest press
  • Favourite song to workout to: Flawless by Yeat
  • Motivation in the gym: I find great satisfaction in the routine of going to the gym and continually striving for self-improvement. The gym serves as an excellent means to achieve this goal, producing great results that motivate me to keep going. 
  • Why did I become a Personal Trainer: I've always had a passion for fitness, and I found great joy in sharing my knowledge with my friends. The idea of turning that passion into a profession and being able to teach more people was very enticing to me.

Lindsay Merner

  • What keeps you motivated in the gym: Having a routine to stick too and setting goals for myself to achieve overall health and longevity.
  • Why did you become a Personal Trainer: I love sharing my knowledge/love for fitness and health with others. I find it such a rewarding profession in helping others gain confidence in the gym and achieving their goals.

  • What keeps you motivated in the gym: Seeing my numbers go up. 
  • Why did you become a Personal Trainer: To help people see results like I did when I started working out - except safer and more efficient.

Zack Walsh

  • Favourite exercise: Resistance training or any sport (hockey, basketball, golf, tennis etc.).

  • What keeps you motivated in the gym: Health and longevity.
  • Why did you become a Personal Trainer: To help motivate and educate people on how to practice and develop healthy, happy lifestyles.
