Sport club tryouts are open to any full time (including co-op) Laurier student interested in getting involved. Contact the club for more details or to answer any questions.
Come out to the Get Involved Fair outside the Athletic Complex on Friday, September 9 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to meet club coaches and executives to learn how to get involved or join a club!

Competitive Dance
The competitive dance team is holding two information sessions for interested students can ask questions and learn more about the club. These are not tryouts, performance auditions will take place at another time.
There will be two information sessions, both held in the Hawk Lounge in the Athletic Complex:
- Monday, September 12 @ 10:00 - 11:00 pm
- Tuesday, September 13 @ 8:30 - 9:30 pm
Squash Club
The squash club is holding open tryouts on Monday, September 19 and Wednesday, September 21 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the squash courts in the Athletic Complex. All Laurier students are welcome to tryout. The squash club has both men's and women's teams that compete. Field Hockey
Laurier students with any skill level are invited to attend the open tryouts. All tryouts are hosted at University Stadium, students trying out are asked to bring shin pads, socks, a stick, mouth guard and water bottle. Students can contact the field hockey club on Instagram @wlufieldhockey or at

Women's Softball
Women's softball is hosting open tryouts with the first session taking place on September 5 at 11 am. There is a $10 per player fee and interested students are asked to contact head coach Matt Allan (
womensfastpitchclub@laurierathletics.com) before attending tryouts.

Men's Lacrosse

Ultimate
Join Laurier's men's and women's ultimate teams! Tryouts are open to all Laurier students of any skill level, please fill out the tryout form prior to attending tryouts -
men's tryout form,
women's tryout forms - and arrive at the field with a dark and light jersey, cleats and any needed gear.
- Tryout 1 (men and women) - September 10 @ 6:00 p.m. @ Waterloo Park Cricket Pitch
- Tryout 2 (men and women) - September 11 @ 2:00 p.m. @ University Stadium

Sailing
The sailing team is currently accepting new crew members. Interested students are asked to email the sailing club at

Equestrian
Laurier students interested in joining the equestrian club are asked to fill out their
tryout phase 1 form. Students can email the club at
equestrianclub@laurierathletics.com for more details or with any questions regarding equestrian competition.
Ringette
Ringette players are invited to the first open ringette tryout on Sunday, September 11 at 7:15 p.m. at Activia Sportsplex in Kitchener. Email the ringette club at
ringetteclub@laurierathletics.com or message them @wluringette on Instagram if you are interested in trying out for the pre-tryout information form.
Tennis
Students who have tennis experience and are interested in joining the tennis club are invited to tryouts in September. Students are required to pay a $15 tryout fee and register in advance using the
tennis club's tryout form.
- Men's tryout - September 12 @ 10:00 p.m.
- Women's tryout - September 14 @ 10:00 p.m.
Both tryouts will take place at the Waterloo Tennis Club, located behind University Stadium.
