Wilfrid Laurier's Students' Union strives to ensure all students are aware of the additional resources, programming, and events facilitated across campus to promote positive mental health on Laurier's campuses. In an effort to bring attention to these programs and services the Student Union has partnered with departments across campus, including Athletics and Recreation, to run Mental Health Month.
Throughout the month of November departments across campus are running additional events to highlight how their programs and services can support students' mental health.
Laurier Recreation will be offering free Self Love Yoga every Wednesday in November from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. in the Multi-Purpose Room in the Athletic Complex. The yoga class is free to all students, faculty and staff, no group exercise pass required.
Recreation will also be offering Rock N Climb on Monday, November 21, 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Climbing Wall in the Athletic Complex. Students can drop in, no pass required, and try out the climbing wall.
